ALCAIDE Tomas (A-21)

Portugal opera singer (tenor). He is still considered to be the most important opera singer in Portugal in the twentieth century. In 1930-1935 lived in Italy and appeared in many La Scala (Milan) operas, then moved to Latin America. It was not until 1947 that he resumed his career in Europe as a lyrical Tenor. He retired as a singer in 1952.
