Italian conductor. He studied with Francesco Cilea in the Conservatory of Naples, then with Molinari in the Academy of Santa Cecilia of Rome. After debuting in Foggia, he started a long activity as a conductor of opera and concerts, coming with his tours to the Soviet Union several times in 1960's. He was the head of the orchestra of the RAI in Milan and professor of the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia.
