An Italian organist, choir director and composer. He was the first organist and choirmaster of the Cathedral of Cremona from 11/1907 until death. In 1909 he was among the founding members of the "Società dei Concerti" in Cremona. From 1931 he directed the "Amilcare Ponchielli" choir founded by Roberto Farinacci. Federico Caudana's compositions have been mostly published by Casa Musicale Edizioni Carrara in Bergamo (428 titles), including: 13 Masses , 51 pieces for organ, 12 cantatas, 64 Eucharistic songs, 59 Marian songs, 33 Christmas songs, 149 sacred and profane hymns, 7 theatrical works for youth, 18 compositions for band.
