French composer and singer. He is the author of bestselling romances. Around 1889, Paul Delmet met his most faithful collaborator for the lyrics, Maurice Boukay, whose dozens of poems he set to music. From 1893, Paul Delmet's songs, which he still occasionally performs in Montmartre cabarets, were added to their repertoire by great café-concert artists (including Anna Thibaud) in the most prestigious establishments such as La Scala, the Eden Concert or at Les Ambassadeurs.
